TEXAS REALTOR®
Due to my husband being in the military and this being our last duty station, we made the Greater Fort Hood Area our home. We came here in 1992, and in 1994 I earned my real estate license, after I took the necessary classes at Central Texas College. In 1995 I earned the Rookie of the Year award from the Fort Hood Association of Realtors, due my high-volume activity in my first year of real estate. I loved volunteering at the association just as much as real estate, therefore I became a member of the following committees hospitality, MLS, professional standards, education. In the years to follow, I was chairperson of the hospitality and the education committee. I also spent years on the Board of Directors. Education was always one of my favorite subjects, and I still like to continue learning.
In today’s competitive business environment, it often takes more than just motivation and initiative to succeed. Earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a way to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate.
In my 28 years in real estate, I I have helped hundreds of clients with their real estate needs in buying and selling personal homes, and investment properties. I also have 25 years’ experience in the rental business. All these years have thought me the analytical skills and a strong understanding of the multiple factors that must be balanced to ensure that the decisions you make not only make you happy today, but also provide satisfaction in the long run.
Since I have been a military wife for 19 years, until my spouse retired, I understand the relocating process quite a bit. It was not enough for me though, just to see the process from my perspective; therefore, I made it a point to also earn the Military Relocation Specialist designation. It benefits the homebuyers and sellers tremendously, to have someone, who understands your move, whether it is within town, a relocation out of state, or even out of country.
Finally, I received the TRLS designation. Landlords and tenants want a real estate professional who understands their needs and guides them through the residential leasing process. I provide real estate services that meet the needs of this market and gain future referrals. This is a statewide certification, which requires completion of four three-hour leasing education courses: • The Essentials of Residential Leasing • The Texas REALTORS® Residential Lease Agreement • Agency Issues Impacting Property Managers and Leasing Agents • Marketing and Leasing Residential Properties. Hence, I have an in-depth knowledge, which I can pass on to renters, and also to homeowners, who want to rent out their property.
I believe in ALWAYS putting my clients needs first when it comes to a real estate transaction.
